Question by Allison P: Is there a website where I can purchase medical supplies that Medicare will pay for?
When I referred to medical supplies I mean stuff like gloves, bandages, catheters, & other things similar to that. Not only do I have Medicare but I also have Medicaid & Healthsprings. Since I am not able to have a job these items that are a necessity to my everyday life can get very expensive. Please help me find something that might help me out.

Here are a few:

http://www.jandbmedical.com/shop/

Many have free shipping and of course will do the medicare and supplemental billing for you.

Thers are so cheaply made they are only good for show. If you want to look good in your uniform then go ahead and get these. If you want to perform when duty calls then spend a few dollars more and get you a good dependable pair of trauma shears.

If you’re cutting through clothing only, these might be okay, but they’re very cheaply made. Most EMT shears let you “cut through a penny!”, but I couldn’t even cut through rope with these.

the shears broke the first time i had to use them. which wasnt good since i work in an ER. and was trying to cut clothes off of a patient. moral of the day. if you are going to use ems shears for emergancy situations. spend the extra money and get good ones.
