Question by Dear Jane…: Can you take herbal supplements that will increase your sex drive while pregnant?
They are all natural, so no harm, right?

My drive has done way down the tubes, just like it did with my first pregnancy, and I feel bad but I don’t want to leave my husband totally out of the game. He needs sex often to be a normal person in his mind.

Just because things are “herbal” does not make them safe (pregnant or not). Think about it: hallucinogenic mushrooms are “all natural” but they still aren’t safe to take. I know, the stuff they sell isn’t as bad as that but I’ve seen so many people react VERY badly to herbal supplements. I’ve even seen a couple friends in the hospital because the herbal stuff they were taking isn’t safe and it isn’t as regulated and well tested as other medications.
Ask your doctor about something safe you can try/take for this issue.

If you are taking ANYTHING that was not prescribed or recommended by your OB/GYN doctor then dont take it until you get the chance to talk to the OB/GYN! This is very important because the doctor can find out things and relate them to your body specifically!
On a side note, your husband should realize that pregnancy has its ups and downs. One of them being a huge sex drive or none at all. He is your husband, if he depends on you to give him sex often then you are gonna feel obligated and that is also why your sex drive could be low. Is he trying to do anything seductive to get you in the mood, or just expecting it from you? Just keep in mind that couples dont always agree on sex times but there are situations (pregnancy) that the spouse needs to let it be about you not him!

Well it’s normal to not have a sex drive while pregnant. It really is different with everyone. Who knows if after you will regain it back. It could be months, even years. I was in your situation with a no sex drive and it’s not pleasant. I tried dieting and exercising but it didn’t do anything. Until I tried this natural herbal enhancer which is meant to increase the sex drive along with other things I’ve noticed. It’s a topical oil called Hersolution Gel which is like an instant libido boost. Along with that my sensations are just blasting and my orgasms are then best. Read up about it at herenhancement.com where I saved on it at the time. It got better with every application. I was skeptical at first but the companies return policy made me commit. From what I remember you have to try out for a couple months but then after that you can return it if it doesn’t work. It would work great for your situation considering your pregnant and theres no need to swallow anything. Well good luck and I hope this helps.
